Meet the Coupland Family

Our Business Spotlight this week is Charles aka Chuck and Dora Coupland, family owned Coupland Signs, located at 118 S 5th St, La Porte, Tx 77571.

When Chuck and Dora first met in 1986, besides realizing that they were both left handed, they shared a dream of establishing a versatile sign business creating signs, banners, stickers, decals, magnetics, vehicle graphics, poster printing, laser cut stencils, decal removing and installation, and artwork creations.  In 1992, they started working from their home.  They remember walking miles through commercial streets taping flyers on  entry ways soliciting business.  In 1993 Chuck and Dora purchased a trailer as they expanded their business.  In 1997 they rented a building before they finally purchased their own building at their current location.

Today, Chuck is known as the Artist, Dora as the Crafter.  They also have their son, Travis as the Innovator and his wife, Sarah, in Marketing.  Donna, Lee, and Anthony are their Production and Operations Team.

Coupland Signs customers include local refineries, school districts, police departments, various classic and racing auto and motorcycle clubs, area Sports Little Leagues, and social organizations.
